I have had my meds transferred to another pharmacy. Today I have gone in for refills from the new pharmacy. Out of the blue, Letrozole shows up in what they had waiting for me. I have never had this before and I have never been prescribed this to my knowledge.

Have any of you taken this medication for BP? I see the "on label" use is in the treatment of breast cancer. There are disvusxions how it may cause, not treat, depression.

What is going on here?

I take it you got in to see the pdoc I hope? Are you coming back down some? I've never heard of that med either. I would of asked before paying for it. They might of gave you someone else's script. It does happen! And then I'd call the prescribing dr before even taking it. Hmmm

Edit: looked it up on my medscape app. It's for breast cancer only lol so yea definitely call the dr

Mistakes get made. I once was given the highest dose of a strong blood pressure medication that sounds similar to another med I needed. I have really low BP so that could have been really bad if I'd taken it.
