Is group dbt therapy real in the sense of the other people in my group, or are they spies for the state/feds to monitor my behavior?

I have convinced myself of the latter. There seems to be too many coincidences during our meetings. Today, one of the guys invited me to go hiking. The conversation immediately following, my being asked to go, was between the therapist and the person that asked me to go. It seemed very much like they had already discussed this prior to the meeting. The only way it could not have been pre-planned would mean that they can read minds.

See, the problem that I have with going is that I am convinced that he is a spy, and that he wants to get me out in a comfortable setting to observe me and then report all activity and conversation back to the head chief whomever it is.

Instincts and paranoia have kept me out of a lot of situations. A couple of times, I should have relied on them more and I would not have gotten into trouble. So, do I trust myself and my instinct on this? Doing something enjoyable with a friend would be nice, but then again is there really such a thing as a friend other than my creator?

I appreciate the answer, however it didn't really address my concerns.
