That little cabin has been trouble free for over 30 years.
Just got an eml that my Big Tex 16' trailer and our big GMC truck have been stolen.
Police recovered truck but it's thrashed. Have a lead on trailer.

Just had my guy buy tons of groceries for husbands expected arrival on Sunday..

Now I think he may have to cancel trip. Cabin is thrashed too.

It was high tide at 3:20 pm today. I do better when I go earlier in the day. By 3:30 I was too blah to go swimming. It would have been my first opportunity all week. Of course now I wish I'd have gone, better to deal with my emotions on how I feel about this mess.
What's wrong with people. We've taken such good care of the truck. Always in the garage. And they steal it and trash it?

Is this fair? I'm hating life at the moment. ;-€

I'm so sorry some dirt bag did that to you! You're the last person that deserves that. Hope they recover it all in one piece and insurance can help out ((hugs)).

Your sympathy means a lot to me.

I never did understand theft and violence.

Help me to send positive vibes to husband, who is left in the USA dealing with this mess. The cabin is a couple of hours from our home. It's not the best time of year to be in the High Desert. I don't have any of the details, but he probably has to resecure the house and garage. Since they found the key, I think it has key to cabin on it too. Will probably need to change locks.
All this and husband is applying for new positions and has only this week.
Remember, he was thinking of retiring. We found out only way to receive a severance package is for him to put in for new positions.
Him being in USA and me here in Costa Rica, I don't know what's going on. Boo-hoo. Thank you guys.

I just told my caretaker about this. I feel so bad as I've promised him the truck when he comes to USA to help me with Earthquake damaged house.

I hate crime.
One reason we have to pay a caretaker here in Costa Rica is the 50 X we've been robbed here.

Once we emptied the house and carried huge body bag size bags down to our friends to stash under their house.

So the robbers came and stold all the Pvc from under the sinks.

It's a racket. You pay a caretaker to stay on the ranch and watch your house. $700 month.
I hadn't budgeted for this when I dreamed of retirement.
