I bought a bookshelf for my son's room around Christmas but I've been too depressed to put it together. Well today I finally did it! My mom helped me but I am proud of the fact that I finally put it together. My brother and brother in law have been offering to do it for a couple of months but I felt like I had to do it myself, to prove that even without my husband I can still get **** done. I feel like that's just one of the things I have to do now; all the things one would normally foist off to her husband. It's like I wanted to prove that I am capable of being independent. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but it's a really proud moment for me.

Next step, spackling the small hole in the wall in my son's room!

Good job!!! My bf would crap if he came home to see I've done that! Hell, he practically has to drag me out of bed each day. Keep up the good work wildflower!
