So my sister signed us up for this adult crafting class. I've been able to avoid it for the first 3-4 weeks. Now because of her son She may have to bow out. Leaving me with a bunch of strangers in a class I didn't sign up for! Worse between now and next Wednesday I have to come up with supplies for some project that adults would like! Then teach the class said craft! I don't know these people, I didn't sign up for the course, this sucks!

Is there any way you can either get out of it or embrace it? Have you got a connection with anyone in the group? Cam you talk to the teacher of the group?

Could you try to challenge yourself and get through it?
I think it really depends, if you really have absolutely no interest in it and don't wanna do it, it might make sense to quit. If it's your shyness and stuff making you want to avoid it, it could be worth it to push and stick through it if you can.

I wouldn't continue the class if I were you, simply because life is stressful enough without creating still more stress by doing something you don't want to do (or have to do). Quit if you want, and don't feel bad about it. You don't owe anyone an explanation.

I'd tell my sister she was responsible for coming up with the supplies and project if she can't cancel the class.

Don't continue the class, it's not your responsibility.

You didn't sign up, and your sister's absence is not your responsibility. But, if you are looking for an accessible craft project, try a magazine collage, or making a bowl from magazine pages. I'm not crafty, but those type of projects were fun for me. Whatever you decide, you made the right decision.
