I don't usually need clothes unless someone's here.

I couldn't stand looking at my new a Seraquel tummy so I put on a cotton t. Yikes. The side seams were making me crazy!

Does anyone have this super sensativity?

Yes thats actually a "thing". Some people, kids, have it all the time.

Yeah, why not? When my daughters were young, I wore an old sweatshirt inside out all the time, and they called it my "snuggle shirt." I think one of them still has it now.

It's not just kids who do this.

I hate the tags in shirts. They drive me nuts.
I cut every single one of them out of my shirts.

I wear a tight stretchy but soft tank camisole under everything. Always black, no tags. Makes me feel secure.

I had a snuggle shirt too!

I wore a Superman underwear on top of my jeans for quite some time.
With a stone face. Nobody messes up with craziness. Not a single comment. Just looks.

Yep first thing I do is cut tags out. They're made with the most irritating type of fabric.

I think it's actually a BP thing.

When I was diagnosed with BP, my parents filled out a survey and one of the questions was "does your child have a sensitivity to clothing, certain textures, etc?"

The question shows up on the bipolar juvenile questionnaire

My mother used to get so irritated with me because I couldn't stand clothing tags, straps on sandals, certain fabrics etc. Of course, nobody was diagnosing kids with "manic depression" as it was called back then---it was just me being whiny and annoying on purpose, as far as she was concerned.

That's interesting that it's more common in bipolar.

I like natural fabrics. 100% cotton, silk. Polyester drives me crazy.

I can't stand itchy lace or wool, elastic, and turtle necks.
