The case against me has been dropped!

I had my first evaluation on tuesday and the psychiatrist decided I was compenent enough to refuse meds. So I don't have to go to the second evaluation or go to court!

And I told my social worker about my pdoc problems and he got me an appointment with a new pdoc the beginning of may!

Yea!

I so want to call my current pdoc and tell her the case has been dropped. Haha, **** you current pdoc.

How great! So happy to hear that, really!

congrats!

I hope your current pdoc gets investigated for what she did... No one deserves to go through what you did

Congrats! I'm glad it went well. Let your case worker deal with the pdoc that brought this on.

Read a bit on the original post. What a crap situation you were in! I'm so glad it's resolved and you got a new pdoc though! Hell if I had to go to court everytime I put myself in IP... Lol. I still think that's such a weird system. And probably not too helpful either.

So happy for you! One of those good things in a disguise if the new pdoc is better. I so hope they are better. You need someone rational and this dr never has been.

Thanks everyone!

I was so excited I called and left my husband an elated voicemail and he texted me backand said he couldn't understand any of it. Lol!

My social worker is such a nice person. I wish I could give him a hug for finding me a new pdoc. I felt so stuck with my current one. No one accepting new patients. Couldn't even get on any wait lists. I don't know how he did it!

My current pdoc has only done me harm. I can't think of anything good she's really done.

Are you still in the legal system until your 90 days are up or are you done with it all now?

At least that's not very long now. If you get a good pdoc out of it then it's maybe not so bad, although horrible that's what it took to get a referral.

Agree, rainbow. It turned out to be for the better. Who knows how long I would have ended up stuck with my current pdoc! She's evil.

I had one once who didn't think someone with my education and job could possibly be bipolar. She kept prescribing drugs that are totally wrong for someone with bipolar and documenting I was doing amazingly well. I only hope that she is better now. She no longer practices where she used to.
