These mostly annoy me because I want to know the meanings! Some I can figure out, but not usually.

I'm still thinking about the dream I had last night. And it comes back in different versions each time. I'm being chased, it could be in a forest, a park, a school, wherever. But I'm always being chased by people who are trying to kill me. I'm always so freaked out! Sometimes so much so that I have to wake myself up from it because I know I'm almost close to dying! I guess this is more of a nightmare....
I've also had the wandering around lost in a school and/or a mall dream. I was told that being lost in the school was me attempting to figure out if I want to continue to further my education and/or what to do after graduation (when I was still working on my B.A.). I'm assuming the wondering around the mall is just where I am trying to go in life in general..?

I've never had dreams like yours where I'm being chased or killed. However, I've had several dreams where I'm actually doing the killing, which I admit freaks me out a bit.

Those dreams are often brutal and gory for me. I usually hack people with some form of a knife (cleaver, machete, kitchen knife, etc.). I've hurt my own family members and random people I've never met. About half of the time I'm doing it in self defense (i.e., someone is attacking me and I have to save myself), and the other half of the time I'm doing it out of anger. I've actually beheaded people.

Like I said, it's pretty scary. I would NEVER do anything like that in real life, but it happens in my dreams. I would like to know why this happens... because I feel like it's happening for a reason?

I've had those chasing dreams too ... and I kind of get freaked out when I wake up from them.

I'm not very good at remembering my dreams. I might suddenly remember a fragment of it when I first wake up but then no soon as I remember the memory is shortly gone.

I have what I call "screaming dreams". The situation is always different but something will happen to me that causes me to completely lose my ****. I start screaming my head off, usually at someone but not always. Often if I'm mad at someone I will grab them and start beating the piss out of them. It's been my mom, random strangers, police, ems...anyone really. This is completely opposite to my character. I have never been in a physical fight in my life and would never lay hands on anyone. I'm also very quiet and passive - I hardly ever yell at people. I've only ever yelled at my husband and my son because I'm completely comfortable with them. I've never yelled at my mom. Oh, my brother too.

When I have these dreams I figure I'm stressed about something and I may not know what. I figure this is what I want to do in real life which is why I'm dreaming about it. I generally try to figure out what's stressing me out so I can address it, either on my own or in therapy.

Sometimes I fly in my dreams. Like Superman. It's wonderful.

I have dreams where I'm doing flips over and over and over. Kooky but I love it.

I have terrifying dreams since childhood that I will not elaborate on.

I go through periods where I have very scary dreams which are very similar in meaning and all have the same theme.

I know what my dreams represent I *think*. Pretty sure. Sometimes they are just pure non-sense thank goodness.

I dream very vividly and have as long as I can remember.

There's a section on this forum about dream interpretation where others might have more info to give you. But I've had reacuring dreams to about being chased through a neighborhood. And most the time I'm trying to run but can't and the person is chasing me in a slow pace but always catching up. Kind of like a horror movie where the killer is always on your heals no matter where you run. When I have these dreams they really freak me out. Luckily I haven't had a dream like this in awhile (watch I'll have one tonight now lol).

My "dreams" are always nightmares. Mostly falling from some stupid high place. Or
sexuals, in which I'm never in a good position. Let me rephrase that. They are not advantageous to me.
Ah, and there are a few where I lose limbs. Either in combat or street fights. I'm so happy when I wake up and see that I still have my arm or my legs.

The latest is also about moving. I'm moving into or out of some house. Sometimes it's like the apartment we lived in during my childhood. Sometimes my grandma is there. Most of the times the moving is with my mom. It's really bizarre.
Thank you all for sharing!!
