So past few months have been having bouts with mini depression episodes and anxiety. My psychiatrist decided to taper me off of Wellbutrin and increased Latuda to 80 to combat depression. I still had a few minor episodes but my anxiety did go down so now she increased my Latuda to 100. I had the onset of a depression episode start but it quickly faded. This is my 4th day at the new dose. Has anyone of you had Latuda help with depression?

I've been on it since October and we have increased me to 120 and I'm finally getting some relief, this just started in the last week though. Hope the new dose is helpful for you as well

Yes. I'm on 80.

I'm on 40 mg and I don't really think it is helping. My wife says I'm like a zombie. I think I'll drop the Latuda and go back to Abilify.

Not really. I was at 40mg when I was hit with a moderate depression. My pdoc increased my dose to 60mg accordingly, but it took 10 days for my depression to go away.

I'm inclined to say that my depression went away on its own. My pdoc said that my increased Latuda dosage should take effect in 2-4 days, but like I said, it took me 10 days to recover. I don't know if a higher dose would have helped or not, but I'm on Lamictal now and I'm going to drop Latuda once I titrate up to a therapeutic dose.

60mg just made me too tired. I got 11-13 hours of sleep a night.

I sure wish I got the drowsy effect a lot of people here get. I'm on eighty and still have to use ambien, Benadryl and me lotion to get enough sleep.

It works for me. I still get some depression, but the episodes are A LOT shorter and less severe.

I am on latuda 40 mg with Sertaline 100 mg. A couple of months ago I was depressed and then took latuda and it broke. And then for the past few weeks I was struggling with really bad depression.
