I've been following threads to lose weight.

I'm trying something new. Whatever portion I put on my plate, I eat only 1/2 of it and put the rest in the fridge for later.

This way I'm working on portion control. What do you do?

Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

In all honesty and with guilt and humiliation, the only way I stayed thin on Seroquel was because of my eating disorder. My last pdoc would laugh and say she couldn't believe i managed to stay so thin on it. Well doc, if you took the time to read my file you'd know lol. But there's many ways you can try in a healthy way. I've heard of docs prescribing metformin to stimulants but I wouldn't recommend stims with BP. Try to not snack past dinner time and don't get up in the middle of the night. Whenever they put me on a new AP, I end up in the kitchen at 3am stuffing my face like someone that just smoked a joint lol. But luckily that goes away after a few days, for me at least. I gave my bro a bit of Seroquel once when he was having insomnia and besides sleeping like the dead, he spent hours stuffing his face and then telling me the next day that my meds are evil lol. No I don't condone sharing meds.. But it was just a small amount I swear!

i only take 1/2 25mg. seroquel nightly for sleep but i exercise daily and because am so obsessive, i won't allow myself to eat anything after dinner…also, i serve dinner to hubby on a regular dinner plate and all my meals are served on a salad plate, but i eat everything that he or i cook but only in smaller portions. if we have bread, then i don't eat potatoes, rice…if we have potatoes, rice, i don't eat bread.

The key is chewing many times. 20-25 times for rice and pasta. 50 times for meat.
I've had Chinese guests and they're chewing machines. Grosse. But effective.
Have you seen a fat Chinese?. And they everything that walks crawls or flies.

Holy crap I wish that amount of Seroquel still put me out! But a tiny mg like that won't cause weight gain and only works as a antihistamine so you won't get a AP effect at all. I used to be on a tiny bit like that.

Last night I pigged out on cookies again. Even put butter and sugar on top of crackers. No wonder I'm having trouble slimming down. ;-(
