So this is the second or third time this has happened to me. This morning I go to the fridge to grab some orange juice and when I look at the bottle, I'm like I don't remember buying this? It's the kind with lots of pulp and I hate pulp. Last time I went to that store I came home with two bottles of orange juice I don't even remember buying the second one. Sometimes I come home with groceries I either don't remember buying or the wrong type of whatever I was supposed to buy (i.e. the orange juice situation). What is this? These small lapses in memory have me questioning what else I've done like this. And I hope it's not happening with my job. So far I haven't heard anything though.
Anyone else?

Just this morning I was thinking about a couple of things I needed to grab before I left and walked right out the door without either one

That doesn't happen to me, but it woyld bother me too if it did.

Do you have a lot on your mind right now? Could be that if you do.

Ha. I have poor working memory in addition to having poor attention.

I'll put my phone down somewhere, and literally no more than 5 seconds later I'll completely forget where I put it. Then it takes me 10 minutes to find it. lol!

Losing my phone and keys has become a daily occurrence

Sometimes I just leave my phone and keys in my jacket pocket. I mean, I wear my jacket everyday when I go out, and a jacket is a lot bigger than a phone... But then sometimes I forget where I leave my jacket because I'm not paying attention lol
Thanks for this!

The phone thing...I do that too. And if you don't have a house phone to call it to find it, or worse, having it on silent from doing so earlier, and it seems impossible to find! Then when you do find it, it's in the most obvious place, or where you swore you just checked!

Not particularly, just working to pay the bills. Same s*** different day.

Yeah I'm guilty of leaving my phone on silent. I'm my own worst enemy

One time I actually put my car keys in my underwear drawer. lol! I have NO memory of doing it, but I literally couldn't find my keys for a whole day... until I went and changed my underwear. "Oh, what's this doing here??"
Thanks for this!

I do things with the mind somewhere else. Buy the wrong kind of food.
Lose the phone, the keys, the glasses.
The worst part is that my hand is faster than my mind.
I reach for the wrong stuff. And break everything I touch.
Ah, sometimes life is full of fun. It's a matter of keeping my eye on the ball.
Only I can't find the ball either!.

Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
