Does anyone else...start to second guess...everything! I'm talking about when you are doing well/stable-so you are not having paranoia or anxiety. But,because of our BP-you start to worry over everything that happened yesterday,today,tomorrow,etc..constantly wondering is this "normal"worrying or am I getting anxious?? Trying to Guage if my responses to anything/everything are BP or normal. I think I'm so worried about overreacting that I analyze too much. I don't think so called "normal"people sometimes care at all about what they say/do! Or how much they can hurt others, whereas I feel we are more sensitive. My therapist says it's good to be self aware...I guess maybe because I'm also getting older so I think about retirement, bills, food, housing, friends, physical and mental illness, sigh....i 'm thinking too much for start of a weekend!

Worrying is a waste of time. Produces only anxiety. The outcome won't change because you worry.
Over analysis is another waste of time and energy. Produces second guessing and indecision.
Do what I say, not what I do.

I think I'm going to go mad, when I find myself asking, what do I do if. It's taken 10 months to quell my mind.

I don't think it's all BP related. My mom over analyzes too. And friends. Females do tend to over think some things, unfortunately.
But since I don't personally know you, I can't say for certain. However, I hope you are able to find relief from your anxiety. Take care

Yes. Oh, yes. In fact, I had friends and bosses tell me that I should relax my bipolar vigilance because I don't need it and it is affecting other areas of my life (and that was over ten years ago that was said).

I don't see how we can be anything but overvigilant and have this illness if we expect to be functional at all. But that's how my life runs. As I've gotten older, I've relaxed some but not all.
