I'm on a weak pain med. Smoke as I can't eat too well. My chipped tooth and loss of filling required a Root Canal & temporary crown. $450. Don't know if that's less expensive than the States.
I'll go back for temporary removal and permanent crown @ $500.00

I used some liquor to deaden the pain.
Any advice? I'm in bed listening to books on CD.

Hi Ocean,
I'm sorry you're going thru so much pain. What are you on, Vicodin?.
Anyway you can get some of the Perco brothers? Dan and Cet?.
Morphine or Dilaudid will be better, but I think is pushing it.
Hope you feel well again soon!.

Thank you for advice. I'm taking Tylonal 3. That's codine. It's ok.
In the States after Dental surgery they gave me Norco 10.
I don't expect to need it for long. But it's very hard to move my mouth.
I'll just try to save some for the next appointment.
I'm going to give up cigarettes after the permanent crown. Hope I can do it without too much stress. I haven't smoked for 35 years. Then just this month since I cracked tooth.

I go back to the States May 6.

I will miss my Ranch. But my kitty the most. She knows I'm hurting.

Tooth pain is so horrible! What a long ordeal, 4 1/2 hours! I'm glad that part is over. Try to distract yourself with something, maybe watch a comedy? And ice packs!
