so do you swear?.

and if so, do you only swear during episodes, or do you swear a lot in general?

i'm not really a swearer in general, but during episodes i can use all the bad language you can think of (without even knowing i knew it in the first place)

I swear some normally, but I swear a TON when I'm having an episode. Especially if I'm irritable.

I'm a bit more comfortable that the ratings are with mine. I do it, not proud of it, and yes, a lot more if I'm irritable or worse..

I live in Finland and we are quite proud of our rich vocabulary when it comes to swearing. Literal meanings of words circle around same 3-4 things as everywhere but it's an art to select a finnish word with correct sound, strength, meaning, etc. Not to mention the number of all possible combinations

I'm terrible about swearing. But it's definitely worse during my irritable manic episodes. I even use the F-bomb a lot. I'm not proud of that. But I don't seem to be able to help it, at least not then.

I swear a lot. A lot less since I spent a year and a half working full time at a daycare...but still, a lot. It's just part of the way I talk. But if I'm having an episode, I will swear more, mostly because when I'm irritated, I find it hard to find nicer words to say.

Rarely. I'm more of a swear when I stub my toe kind of person. Other than that my vocabulary stays pretty clean.

When I'm manic I seem to think swearing is HILARIOUS in inappropriate situations. I become a pretty childish prankster

I've some colorful lanuage but there's a lot more emotional punch to it when I'm in an episode. normally I have control of saying things out loud but in an episode it seems to control me.

Only when manic. It's one of the best signs I'm manic. And I voted wrong.....should have voted only in an episode. I thought that's what I marked but I didn't. I'm tired. Does it show?

All the time, but I hate myself immediately after. I can't seem to help it.

It must have inherited the "swearing gene" from my father.

Same thing. I used to do improv and our group was a family friendly group, so
I never could get into the habit of swearing, in case I did it on-stage.

Yes, as a teacher and a parent, swearing is something I kind of have to avoid.

Yeah.

But especially when I'm pissed, which has been all the time lately.

All day, every day. You should've been with me watching tv last night. I was screaming F bombs constantly at the tv catching up on How to Get Away with Murder.
Why did it end like that?!

I used to swear a lot, but have pretty much given it up for some reason. I'm not being self-righteous, but I no longer like the way it sounds. I'll call a bad driver a "son of a jackal" rather than the obvious alternative. I still express anger, but do so with different language...That's just me.
