I was just taken off lamictal and put on Brintellix. I wanted to know if anyone else is on this and what I should expect. My doc said it would help with anxiety and depression.

I'm sure I can't be of help to you. But you sure can be of help to me.
I'm curious about the switch from the lamictal. It wasn't working for you?.

No the lamictal wasn't working for me. I felt no change in my depression. Plus it sucked that the pill was really large, for me at least.

Brintellix did absolutely nothing for me. Didn't touch the depression. But there were no side effects. I only took it for maybe two months if that so maybe I just didn't give it enough time or maybe my depression was too deep. But good luck, hopefully it will work better for you.

Brintellix has been working very well for me. I've been on it about two months. My anxiety is as high and my depression is better.

Thanks all so far. Wondering if anyone else has any experience with Brintellix.

It didn't really do much for me. It might have helped a tiny bit, but it seemed to make me a little flat and I quit after 2 months or so. I don't remember it having any other side effects though, and I almost always get lots of side effects from meds, so that's a positive. Good luck!

It worked the best for me out of the SSRIs and atypical antidepressants, but Adderall has been a miracle.
