What would you like to completely, utterly destroy?

Do you like destruction?

I do.

Do you know of any films with some deliberate, needless destruction?

Fight club. Would love to see that one in the cinema again. Watching it on TV is really not the same.

I'd love to blow up a row of parked, expensive cars, one after the other, remotely.

I subscribe to the hindu belief that creation and destruction are interconnected.

And in my Uni days I have been oddly fascinated by quote of Japan's war minister in the WWII: "Would not it be wondrous for this whole nation to be destroyed like a beautiful flower?"

I want to destroy my boss. Lol. Does that count? Actually, right now I want to destroy everything. So angry right now!

Destruction brings sadness in me. I'm usually oppose to the idea. What for? To reconstruct?

I just think of the things being destroyed right this moment, I can't think of much that could be beautiful if things were reconstructed with the same **** without much thought. I could see some point in things getting destructed to restore, some shits gone forever, humans are too destructive on this planet.

An expensive car is a car with so much work and engineering prowess that has developed over decades and decades, what's the point of this thread, Icare? Terrorists kids could be watching, tread carefully.

I definitely like destruction. I studied martial arts for a long time, one of things I enjoyed most about it was unleashing raw, destructive power during sparring matches.

I'm also a bit of a pyromaniac. I like watching things burn, and I like the feeling of knowing I'm destroying them. Something as simple as burning a piece of paper is satisfying.

Fight Club is an awesome movie. One of my favorites. I also highly recommend the film 'Bronson'. It's Tom Hardys best movie IMO.

Other Movies I'd recommend are:

American Psycho
A Clockwork Orange
Hard Candy
Heathers
Natural Born Killers
Falling Down
Only God Forgives
Seven Psychopaths
No Country for Old Men

Anger and feeling like destroying stuff must be better than the alternative: anxiety.

There are so many expensive cars destroyed in films. Those are made for destruction: they (probably) give them away for free or spend money to get them into a film even.

Expression is always better than building anxiety.

That must be (some of) the reason that people like to see destruction in films. It's soothing.

Edit:
I like watching paper burn as well. It's beautiful.

I want to destroy MI stigma ... I really want to share my dx with the world ... but ... I won't .. it broke my heart when talking about not telling anyone about my bp dx ... and the wife volunteered she does not either ... I have made cowards out of both of us ...

I'd love to see/imagine a particular tower (if I remember correctly it was a tower) in Brussels being demolished. Nice controlled demolition. No people in it, of course. Just the building.

Nice CGI or just imagining it.
