Project semicolon is making a book of stories and pictures of semi colons tattoos.

I'm considering submitting a small story and my semicolon tattoo.

Thoughts?

That sounds cool.

If you want to do it, I think you should do it. I'm sure they'd love to hear your story and see your tattoo. You already have the tattoo anyways, so why not share a picture of it? Tattoos are meant to be seen! (Well, that's my opinion anyways. )

It's just that my picture would be in there too and I worry about people knowing. Lol

Idk if I'm ready for people to know but inside I want to share

If you worry about your family and friends seeing it, you could submit one where does not show your face? Though, to be honest, I think you should feel proud that you have continued on with your story; your life.

I thought about getting one done, but I worry people might confuse it with self-harm/self-mutilation.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Unless you have that tattoo right in the middle of your face (like this guy), I don't think you'll be forced to show your face.

(You don't have it in the middle of your face, right??)

It's on my foot I would share mine if I didn't have to put my face or first and last name on it.

You could always give a fake name if you're worried. "Not Hallie Beth"

But for real, they can't verify your name if you give them a fake one. Celebs do this all the time anyways. Think of it as a stage name!

IDK. Whoopi Goldberg's real name is Caryn Elaine Johnson. If she did that, then so can you!

Congrats. I really like the idea of the semi-colon tattoo. It has an excellent meaning and I'm sure most of us here can relate to the sentiment behind it. You go girl!

It wasn't too deeply personal. Just how depression and such is very real.

How I had to surrender to God and work hard to get better and sbout my tattoo. It's an owl with semicolon on it's belly. It probably won't even be publushed
