So I went to the er Friday morning and instead of sending me inpatient they sent me to a mental health center, I was there Fri through Sunday, I'm home now and need to prepare to return to work and life, I had planned to go today but I'm home, guess I feel like I need another day to process. Not really venting, just writing this out to help process I guess. The center had a very small group but being the weekend there were less group activities but being there got me through my SI and I really needed that. I've been all over the place this last month mood wise, depressed then ok for a couple days then depressed again. They added Lamictal to my cocktail while there, hopefully this will help with the depression. Tomorrow I will face the world again for sure, wish me luck on staying on track

Lamictal has really helped ease my depressions. I don't think it's reduced the severity per se, and I don't think it's stopped my rapid cycling, but it's definitely lessened the duration of my depressive episodes, which is awesome. Now my depressions are a week long or shorter!

I will probably have to find another drug to help lessen the severity... but Lamictal has worked out pretty well for me. Hope it works well for you too.

I had Lamictal added to my cocktail in November. It was the bumpiest ride I have ever been on with a med. But I finally feel so much better now!! I wish you the same! Well, not the bumpy part, more like smooth sailing.
