I am open about my mental health and have adequate support from the "normal" folk but need people to talk to who have similar experiences to my own.

When I first realized that I needed help, I was depressed. My depression lasted years, so I was misdiagnosed chronic depression at first. After my first hypo manic phase that lasted nearly as long, my diagnosis was modified to bipolar II.

Since then my depressed phases have been fewer or less obvious while my hypo manic phases are weeks to months long and quite obvious. When I'm cycling to stable, I feel as though I'm coming down from a drug.

I have decided to learn more about the condition I live with.

Welcome. Knowledge is power. The more you know about BP the easier it is to handle it.

Always good to meet someone who likes Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

We're all mad here.
