Well, I failed. I tried to go off of my medication. I made it one week and symptoms got too bad for me. Sunday morning I called my case manager who told me that it was time to give my doctor a call. My doctor was receptive and helpful. Unfortunately, according to my pdoc, this could take a couple of weeks to get back under control.
I really wanted to prove that my diagnosis is wrong. Epic Fail . . .

I'd love sometimes for my diagnosis to be wrong, but alas ...
Going off meds doesn't work too well with me but at some stage in the future I'll be weaned off some of them. Hang in there! You did the right thing by contacting your pdoc. |

Maybe you can find acceptance in your heart for your diagnosis and deal with this better now. Learn the lesson and your week won't have been wasted.

A lot of people are in the same boat and have done what you done, so don't beat yourself up for it.
At least you can accept your diagnosis now, which I think is a huge win on your part. |
