So, in the chaos of everything that went wrong this weekend, I forgot to grab my meds before I left for work this morning. Needless to say, I now feel like a raging lunatic.

Raging I don't know. But lunatic is a good thing. We're never "here" and holler at the moon. Nothing wrong with that.

I work almost 30 minutes away from home. I'm leaving at 3 o'clock anyway.

Trust me, I've been raging. Just ask the people I've been speaking to on the phone today at work.

Thanks. I've always been good about my meds, this is the first time this has happened like this where I've forgotten them all.

I've had days where I've forgotten my meds. Then I've had days where I *thought* I forgot my meds and therefore accidentally took twice my dose.

I think it happens to all of us at some point.

Sorry you're not doing well

I keep one stash of meds at home and one in my bag, it helps. You could also put some in your glovebox. Never know when you might get stuck somewhere!

You likely will be fine, don't stress. Missing a dose or taking one late doesn't impact most of us.

I need to get one of those pill box things so I don't have to keep trying to remember bringing my meds to work during the week and taking them home on the weekends, that's what messes me up.

I agree with the above --I think most meds stay in our system for some time and taking one dose late shouldn't make too much a difference, though I know it's really stressful not having them on board.

The only reason I say this is because I freaked out once about the same and then my pdoc told me this.

Just take them when you get home and you should be fine.

Some people have an immediate response to missing meds, while others do not. It may depend upon which med(s) as well as how the med is metabolized.

I carry some with me. I know of many people with a stash in their glove box, their desk, their locker, etc.

JustJace2u, sorry you'd had this additional challenge today.
You'd had a challenging weekend, as well.
