Have you ever chewed one of your non-chewable pills/tablets? lol. What did it taste like?

I've chewed my non-chewable Lamictal tablets. lol. I've done it on two occasions:
(1) When I needed to split my pill in half. (I just bit off half of it and spat the other half into my Rx bottle.)
(2) When I couldn't swallow it. (Some days I just can't swallow that beast.)

Surprisingly Lamictal doesn't taste that bad. It's got a chalky texture of course (maybe similar to fine cocoa powder), but it's not actually that bitter like you would expect. It tastes kinda salty to me, but barely salty.

LOL!

I was chewing clonazepam when I read this.

I had learned we can let clonazepam melt under our tongues.

I was on a forum very early one morning and a friend was chatting with me, telling me he was chewing his clonazepam. Huh?
He was telling me it tastes sweet and told me he also puts a tab or two in his coffee as sweetener.

I chewed my next clonazepam. I've been chewing them ever since.

Xanax. The weirdest taste of 'em all.
Adderall. Sweet like candy.
The rest taste like chalk.

Ativan can be put under the tongue. It tastes a lot like powdered Sweet & Low. I haven't tried chewing any of my meds though. Yuck.
