So... It was 10 pm and I was dropping off my grandma at her house along with my aunt. Some jackass had blocked the road with his parked SUV, so I couldn't drive all the way to my grandma's house, which meant I had to let my grandma and my aunt walk down the road to their house. (Fortunately it wasn't very far... Like maybe 1000 feet)

The real problem? The only way to get out was to back all the way up or back into someone's driveway to turn around. Well, when I went to back up in someone's driveway, I hit a f***ing pole! Yes, I s*** you not... The guy literally has a POLE in his driveway. It's a metal pole about 3 feet high. You can't see it! It's also apparently removable??? Like, it's physically in the middle of his driveway and it looked like it could be screwed out

Unfortunately i hit the stupid pole with the rental vehicle.. but who the hell puts a removable pole in their driveway to prevent people from backing up. Wtf

Seriously, you can't make this s*** up LOL. Deductible is only $250 I believe, but we'll see.

It's all good

I just think it's really WEIRD to put a removable pole in your driveway. I have never seen this before. Is this something people actually do? I'll take a pic in the morning to show the damage. You can see an clear imprint of the pole lol
