My mission this summer is to find and consume the best India Pale Ale in the world. Right now I am enjoying Mayflower IPA, brewed nearby in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It is very good, but I cannot call it great. If you have a candidate for the best IPA ever, please let me know. And please hurry -- I am running out of time.

I should add that I'd love to have recommendations for any beer. Just let me know your favorite, and I'll do my best to try it. As they say in the movies, I'm on a mission from God.

I used to LOVE beer. I don't really drink for sport the way I used to though, so no suggestions. My dad had me try a sip or his beer a few weeks ago. It was beer, which tasted like rootbeer. Probably more of a hard rootbeer than actual beer. It was really good though. Good luck on your quest to find the best beer. When the verdict in finally in, I hope you will share your results. (((Hugs)))

I'm a fan of Sierra Nevada IPA's, Lagunitas, and a local Utah brew Hop Rising by Squatters.

Not an IPA person, so I don't have any suggestions there. I do really like most of the Great Lakes (Cleveland, OH) beers I've had though. They probably have an IPA, I just haven't had it. My favorite beer I've had is the Elliott Ness, which is an amber lager.

James Squire do a great IPA but I'm guessing you don't get it in the USA.

Finally something I absolutely don't know anything about. Will read about IPA.
I don't drink beer, but when I do, is either Tsingtao or Yuengling.

I am not much of a beer drinker.
However, I will make some suggestions.

The most popular IPA in my region is "Heady Topper" by The Alchemist.
So many ppl love it, there are posted delivery times/dates and purchase limits all through each week.

Sam Adams "Rebel" IPA.

Magic Hat's IPA Playlist Variety Pack.

Not quite Pale Ale: Magic Hat's #9

----------

Beer in general:

"Double Bagger," by Long Trail, a full-bodied double alt.

"Long Trail Ale," by Long Trail.

"Switchback Brown," by Switchback.

"Boston Lager," by Sam Adams.

"Allagash White," by Allagash.

"Old Brown Dog," by Smutty Nose.

Worth trying - no finer summer drink than a pale ale:

India Pale Ale | Shepherd Neame

India Pale Ale | St. Peter's Brewery
