I have always been a sleepwalker and a sleep eater, but lately it has been getting worse.

I've been taking zopiclone to sleep and am wondering if it is partially to blame.

Anyone with the same issue?

I would sleep walk frequently as a child. I've done it a few times as an adult. A few years ago I walked into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, walked away leaving the doors open and went back to bed. My family watched it all happen and thought I was awake until I left the doors open (without eating). I have no memory of this happening. It's VERY scary. What if I would have left the house? I'm so sorry you are going through this. I would definately talk to your doctor and investigate the cause. It's actually very dangerous.

When I took zopiclone 10 years ago I would sleepwalk and even open the fridge and eat when I was asleep. I had no memory in the morning of what I'd done while sleeping. The only reason I found out was because my roommate told me about it. I quit the zopiclone and it never happened again.

Seroquel caused me to sleepwalk and sleep cook and eat.... and it was hell. I would wake up with a plate in bed with me, often with food on it. Disgusting.

Ambien did the trick.

I know it's definitely a side effect of Ambien- I'd do some research on Zopiclone to see if that could be causing the issues. Scary stuff- hope you get it figured out!
