So, I woke up today agitated and nosies are killing me. It's so bad I've called the doctor to see if she will give me something to help. Are there things I can do to help me get out of this state?? Any suggestions?

Are you on a new med? Or are you having a mood episode?

Abilify and prozac. I was given them on the 20th. I've taken prozac before and I don't remember it doing this. That's why I asked for it this tjne.

Hm. I wonder if it's the Abilify?

Or, it could possibly be the Prozac, even if you think it's not likely. For example, maybe you took Prozac before while on Lamictal and Lamictal did a good job of preventing agitation caused by Prozac. Then when you went off Prozac and started it with Abilify, maybe Abilify isn't able to prevent the agitation from Prozac. See what I mean? (Sorry if my wording is poor.)

I hope you're able to talk to your pdoc about this soon.
Thanks for this!

It's the abilify, I had it too, my pdoc said agitation is actually a quite common side effect of it. Depends on the dosage as it gets higher agitation is more likely. Good luck, I had to take lithium and lower the dose of Abilify to smooth it out. It's really annoying.

One of my chief complaints was agitation/irritable when I was given abilify. I guess maybe that is why it's more intense. I was taking it with Zoloft and buspar as well and still had agitation. I guess that's the problem. Thank you all for helping figure that out. I see a physiatrist on the 8th. Hopefully he will straighten me out. I called the doctor to ask if there was anything I could take to help calm me and all she suggested was to make a trip to the hospital... no thanks
