Does anyone get irritable during hypomania? I think my mood is elevating and I am finding some things irritating. Like I'm slightly annoyed by things that wouldn't normally hit my radar?

I'm a pretty easygoing person...and there's like a tiny bit of bithchiness festering? Maybe?

lol any advice appreciated

OMG I get super irritable when hypo. Very impatient too. Like when driving and the person in front of me is driving ever so slightly below the limit I go nuts and can start screaming at them (not that they can hear it thankfully). Yeh, so irritability is normal.

I get irritable and much more likely to snap at people (usually I'd never do that) as soon as hypomania hits.

Yes, I do. I hear it's actually pretty common with hypomania for people to get irritable. Usually I am very impatient when I'm hypo. I need instant gratification, and I'm overly goal-oriented during this time. Plus, if people don't like my ideas or live up to my expectations, I'm quicker to snap or get upset.

My irritatableness is mostly just mixed episodes. Hypomania I do get impatient but I'm in too good of a mood to be bothered by other things.

I also get very irritable during mixed episodes.

I get an edge that is, otherwise, so very uncharacteristic of me.

In straight hypo, I feel exuberant, energetic, humorous, etc.

Thinking of you, rainy!

Yes! Irritability is one of the first signs for me.

I am also very easygoing and relatively flexible. So when I start getting *****y and just nasty to my loved ones about things that didn't usually bother me, I know... it has begun

YES! and sadly I get very irritable when I am depressed too. However, with hypo I feel really irritable and happy at the same time. Very weird.

I sometimes get impatient and irritable when hypo. As other people have mentioned, I feel like everyone is so SLOW....example: I cannot handle slow or inefficient drivers....I cuss like a sailor at them.
