We are all probably good at something, I know for me when I am a wreck it really helps me do something that I am good at. They even talked about it during my last hospitalization.
When I start going south and need to feel like I know all of the rules and how things work I will cook. I used to be a chef so that helps to calm me down.

What are some things other people do for an outlet?

I'm good at cooking as well, though I'm not a chef. My family likes it when I cook. I don't do it as often because I get anxious when I do.

Other than that, I would say photography and writing poetry. I have to be in a good space to do poetry, though, and I haven't been for a while.

I'm good at putting other people first, being a caregiver to others. I LOVE crafts but now the kids are older it's just lonely to try. I'm good at being a mediator and keeping the peace. Keeping things flowing such as appts., deadlines, every day bull. And most of all, I am good at lying to myself.
