I've never been a tobacco smoker, but tend to like some nicotine now and again. I have a small personal vaporizer, usually filled with a minty blend. Just curious if anyone else out there capes for pleasure, smoking cessation, or whatever. Doesn't do a darn thing for my moods, unless like back in the day when I used to load it up with medicinal oils.

I'm going to make the switch in about a month. I quit smoking for three months by replacing it with vaping. I eventually hope to be nicotine free but I know I need the sensation of smoking if I want to quit.

I used it to quit nicotine. I still have one that I use when I'm feeling anxious, but the blend doesn't have nicotine in it. My husband makes his own blends at home. I wouldn't recommend it, as liquid nicotine, even when it's diluted, is some pretty nasty stuff.

I quit smoking by vaping for 2.5 years, decided to quit along and ended up smoking occasionally again. Thinking of grabbing a new one if I can't get the smoking under control. I find it helps with my anxiety quite a bit when i vape though.

I quit smoking cigarettes a few months ago. I did not use vape after. I just used the patch and that's all.

I still have a mvp sitting by the computer with peanut butter cup juce in it. I will sometimes puff on it, just to see if it suits my mood. I remember when smoking real cigarettes was quite a crutch for me to cope, I guess at some point I realized I could smoke myself into being unable to breathe and still feel terrible inside.

I vape to keep me quit of cigarettes. If I couldn't vape, I may as well just jump right into my tomb, with an endless carton of cigarettes.

I quit smoking in March of 2015. I've had a cigarette here and there, but I have not returned to any planned smoking.

Has anyone heard of/tired the monq? I've been thinking about giving them a try. Its basically just like a personal diffuser.

Not vape but smoke. I smoke cigarettes and cigars. Tbh dont know if I can ever quit the addiction is so bad. Sometimes I smoke 2 packs a day. Im going to study business management so that I can open up my own smokeshop specializing in cigarettes and cigars. You see here in The Bahamas we get European Bahamian and Central American cigs. I personally prefer American cigs anyday of the week and am sure most of the tourists and locals would aswell. A Swiss Marlboro Red like what we get around here is way lighter than an American one I've smoked various American cigs before and can confirm that it is virtually the same with the Golds, we only get light Menthol here, Newports, Kools, Camels, etc. just too underpowered for my taste since the EU put a limit on the nicotine a cig can have in it to 1mg so technically the Marlboro Red Europeans would be considered almost a light cig in the USA. But the benefit of the Bahamas is I can get Cuban cigars love Cohiba

I quit smoking with the patch approx. 30 years ago now.

Medical marijuana is legal in this state. My docs had me try it for pain control and could not find a type that helped me with pain then, so gave it up.
My doctors want me to try again, yet I am afraid it will make my mood more unstable now.

I have two nice vaping devices.

I'm not sure it's vaping per se, because I think there's literally less vapor that comes out than with a vaping device, but I smoke Blu e-cigarettes. Love them. I actually like them better than cigarettes and don't smoke anymore. But I've ended up smoking more of the e-cigarettes than I smoked actual cigarettes, I don't know if they have less nicotine or if I just like them more; they also don't leave me with that bad taste in my mouth, they feel 'cleaner' and yes, I do it for anxiety (aside from the addiction). Nicotine has always helped with anxiety. I told my pdoc and she understood completely. No doubt she has lots of patients who either smoke cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or vape and it helps with their anxiety.

My pdoc told me: A little nicotine often helps anxiety, calming the brain. A lot of nicotine is apt to cause seizure activity in the brain.

I believe I had smoked to begin with, due to anxiety.
