One thing I've noticed is that a lot of threads get pushed to page 2 and page 3 within one day, which is fine. However, once a thread reaches page 2, it's pretty much "done for", and the thread "owner" is basically responsible for bumping their thread.

I don't care about my threads personally (since they're not really asking for support), but it'd be cool if more people read page 2 and page 3 threads. Half of page 3 is only 1 day old and I see some threads there with only 1 post. I'm not going to post in them so that you can see what I mean...

I'm not saying you should post in every single one of them, but a simple "thanks" or "hugs" goes a long way.

I think ~Christina brought this up a while ago, but yeah... Click page 2 or page 3... Even page 4! Or 5!

Yea I check in multiple times a day and read new threads. I hate when my threads go ignored and yea I think page 2 and 3 deserve a look at least.

I'm here at least once a day and almost always check pages 2 and 3, and sometimes even farther back if there's a thread I'm interested in.

I always check page 2 and 3, sometimes 4 and 5, and if I see a thread I know I can respond to, I'll respond to it.

Also the first post of new members seem to get ignored with no answer for their problem, if anyone does post they give the welcome to PC routine and completely ignore the newcomers issue. I think we lose a lot of new members this way. I know that's why I quit after my first time here and I decided a couple of years later to try again.

This is part of why I stopped posting after originally joining. Any threads i started get one or two replies and not too helpful at that.

Sorry that's happened to you, Trey. I have noticed that as well.

I don't have any ideas for how to fix this problem, but if anyone else has ideas, feel free to chime in. I usually try to bump threads with few replies.

I understand how discouraging that can be

I usually try to look at more than the first page for posts that have only one or two responses and make a comment if I feel I can help a person. If we all would do that it would certainly help.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
