I'm on six meds. Two are as needed. I hate being on all of these meds! Some definitely have to go, but it's hard because they all have a purpose.

If you're on a lot of meds, do you hate it?

edit-Oh, I'm only on five meds. lol at only. I forgot I don't need cogentin anymore.

Yes, I hate taking meds! Right now I'm only on 4 different meds but I take multiples of some so I toss back a whole handful every night and a slightly smaller handful in the morning
Thanks for this!

Yes the number of pills I take at night is ridiculous and I hate it but if I went off I'd probably be back to going inpatient every 3 months or so.....so I just take them

Mx: To clean up the mess use lamotrigine, r
isperidon, mirtazapine and sertraline. Let it soak in for a while but keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile enjoy your desert of oxazepam/temazepam prn.

I take nine and a half pills each day.
This is between five meds and a vitamin.
And I have a PRN that I can take up to twice daily as needed.
I feel like a drug addict of some sort.
Most of them I need, I question a couple of them.
I've also lost count on many I've had in the past.

I'm on 8 meds, not counting supplements. It's a chore but better than the alternative.

I definitely didn't like those periods of time I was on a lot of meds, but generally, those times were the months following a hospitalization, and given time to stabilize, my pdoc was able to decrease the number of meds once I was out of that acute phase. But I watched my sister deal with 18 prescriptions following her bone marrow transplant (something like 40 pills a day), so my number of pills was really small by comparison; put it into perspective for me.

I guess I'm lucky that I'm only on one--guess it depends on prescriber preference?

We've narrowed it down to two, plus a antibiotic, and I thought that was a lot!

I am on a lot of meds, but I don't hate it. I feel like each serves a purpose so it is worthwhile to take all of them. I remember the short period I was on just one. That changed very quickly. Now I have been on some sort of combination for the past 17 years.
