this came about after a conversation i had with someone yesterday.

he told me he still owned a lot oif storytapes from when he was a child.

so i asked him, well isn't that a bit out of date?. it's 2016 now, they arn't even being made anymore

later that same day someone sle said to me, oh.. i still own fairytales on cassette tape, and i'm like... wow really

so question: do you own cassette tapes?

I don't, and i imagine a lot of you will say no as well

but, I sometimes wonder. perhaps more popular than i thought?

I own cassette tapes. They're Harry Potter ones. I found them the other day when I was cleaning up my room. I don't use them, though.

My parents had converted all of their old cassettes to CDs about 10 years ago. Now the cassettes are gone. I'm not sure if they were thrown away, donated, boxed up in the attic, or whatever.

I still have big collection of tapes from 80s but I have not played them for a few years. I even remember being one of the first people with a Walkman.

I have one. It's a walking tour of Greenwich village that my cousin organized. That's how I got it. Alas, I have no way to play it.

Thanks for this!

good choice!

i've got a few cds of bon jovie

my first tape was a tape of the story of sleeping beauty- complete with a book with the story in it.

when you hear the ding sound on the tape, you were meant to turn the page in the book

actually I had a lot of those in their day.

I still have quite a few cassette tapes. I don't play them anymore because I'm spoiled by having CDs that have much better sound. But I won't get rid of them.
