one thing , sometimes a very little thing indeed can make such a large difference ... those that know me know mine , but what is your's ... what idea , dream , pleasure , person or thing keeps you moving foward ... see's you over the valley , through the darkest of times.. what is it you return to when it is the darkest ... ?

I really can't think of anything that gets me through. The closest thing is that my wife is always nearby but even that does not help much. I guess I just ride it through no matter how rough things get.

I know what it used to be, but since that reason is gone. I mostly fight because not fighting could mean being lost in my own mental dungeon of torture and horror, while my body is sustained by those who think they are helping me. I always want to emerge from the darkness, to find light again and make sure that I am still me, that is my one thing these days.

For me, it's the realization that I can't not make it through without hurting others. Not wanting to hurt those I love is the one thing that's more powerful to me than giving in to the darkness. It doesn't pull me out of the darkness, but it prevents me from seeking out the release I look for.

My mom. Although we have our problems getting along at times, and there's a lot she does not understand, I know she's the one person who would come to the rescue for me no matter what- unconditionally. My grandma too....she's a great listener.

I'd always thought that when my husband died, I wouldn't want to exist anymore either. But something happened when he did pass...now all I want to do is live, as he wanted me to. I have to think of family, how hurt they would be if I were to die by my own hand. I can't do that to them.
