thought this format might be something good to try

so we all like discovering new music- why not make the most of it and suggest a song to listen to each day?

we'll list the artist, song, type of music, and why you should give it a listen

i'll start:

song: santo domingo

artist: BZN

type of music: pop

why you should listen to it: catchy beat, and uplifting lyrics

let's see where this goes *
Thanks for this!

Everything is alright by motion city soundtrack. Same as the op, it's catchy and uplifting. It's sort of alt rock pop.

I love Steal my Sunshine by Len. It is so poppy and upbeat. It makes me smile. It happy and silly, and just plain fun

also it's not 1 of her single releases- it's an album track, which shows album tracks can actually be good (if not better) than the single releases

I love Sia's music! Especially her early albums and the work she did on Zero 7 albums.

yeah, she's good.

I recently found out she did some of the music for annie (I thought it was her anyway, but found out for sure)

best album for me is probably we are born

I love " i'm in here", "hurting me now", and " bring night", all from that 1 album

Hard to Handle
Grateful Dead
Live - Fillmore East 4/29/71
Groovy, bluesy, fantastic guitars

Why? A lot of people think the Dead is for hippies, but some of their live stuff is amazing. It will be "new" music to a lot of people.
