they are a huge trigger for us.

huge.

(well, fire in general really)

had a lot of bad experiences with fire

Possible trigger:

really bad time of the year, so many firework displays happening

(what I want to know is why are they starting so early this year?)

I don't like fireworks myself, but you honestly ban everything that triggers somebody.

You'd ended up with the world banned.

I don't like fireworks either, every year they seem to be getting louder.
They sound like bombs.

Oh no I love fireworks think they are amazing. The colours and the noises are great. I understand people hate them I use to work with a young man who hated them so I missed fireworks night in the UK (5th Nov) a few times. But gotta say I love the atmosphere too its always a great night :-)

We have gunshots and fireworks go off in our neighborhood almost daily. Sounds like a bomb sometimes....drives my dogs crazy. I used to love fireworks....even though I stepped on one with bare feet as a small child and injured myself....I still liked them. Now they ignite my anxiety so it just isn't fun. But some people really enjoy them.

I hate balls and most any sport which utalizes balls. I've been hit in the head HARD on several occasions by balls. I feel panic even watching balls on television.
Thanks for this!

I don't mind fireworks when I'm watching them. Otherwise they're really loud. Plus we've had people who set off fireworks illegally. That gets to be a pain.

I love fireworks when it's done professionally or by myself but not when random people in the street are setting them off.

I believe everyone has a right to do as they please in their personal life so long as it is within the law and harms no one. As such, I cannot agree to the banning of fireworks. It is up to the individual to take proper precautions to avoid their triggers and, if impossible, to work with a therapist so they can manage their negative emotions. Hell, my obsession over contamination and the human mouth are triggered every single day, but I'm not going to demand everyone start wearing flu-masks.
I'm sure you are working on it and that this was more of a joke than a serious suggestion.

that has to be tough.

do you enjoy sports that don't have balls in them?

wrestling comes to mind, and horseracing

this shows how diffrent we are.

seeing ball or hearing a ball, even touching a ball helps me get mannic.
