I haven't had a change to start our book club selection, "Touched With Fire" yet but thought I'd post the thread so people can start sharing as they get the book and as they read through it. So hope people have been able to find a copy!

'The Skeezyks has read several of Kay Redfield Jamison's books. Highly recommended! (There are also videos on YouTube of talks she's given.

Cool--there is also a thread open on her other book "An Unquiet Mind" in case you want to contribute to that

It's been years since I read Touched With Fire. It was an enlightening book, and I think I shall re-read it now.

I skimmed through the book this weekend but didn't come close to finishing. Seemed very scholarly. Anyone get through it yet?

I was thinking of getting this on audiobook but the word "scholarly" intimidated me. Not sure I want to invest the money in something I may not comprehend.

Not sure how the audio book would be--I usually like paper books better in cases like this so you can skip around easier.
