so i've finally decided to try 1 of the american horror story series out (people always went on about them, but i've never actually seen 1 myself)

anyway, i've decided to go with, american horror story hotel (I figured out of all of them, that might be the easiest with less triggers)

is it okay to watch?

are their many sceens I should look out for or many triggers in the show

I answered in the Tv thread.

But to reiterate, there is rape, murder, torture, psychological manipulation, psychopaths and sadists. In every single season.

I really like American Horror Story but it's not for the easily triggered. Hotel was my least favorite and had things in it which triggered me worse than any other season....but perhaps it won't for you. i wouldn't even try to watch it if you're feeling raw or sensitive.

It is a pretty harsh, graphic and gory show.

I've been watching it recently... there are more a few suicides in it. Very triggering.

Elsa's character was very complex which I liked. She had the most horrific backstory in the series I think.
