Sometimes, but only when I'm manic and therefore delusional.

You're probably manic and need to get a med change.

I have felt like I was being watched and followed for over half my life and I have at times felt like things were around me that defied logic.

I've felt this on and off since childhood. I used to always feel someone was looking into my bedroom window in the dark. Perhaps they were or at some point did and I became paranoid? About 16 years ago I went through a six month period where I pulled my mattress out of my bedroom and put it in the living room. There was a demon in my bedroom (I went through some pretty horrific things in that bedroom so it was probably a minifistation of that trauma) so I slept on the mattress in my living room until I felt safe in my room again.

You are being evaluated by doctors so in a sense you ARE being watched and it's natural to want privacy and be uncomfortable with it all. I do not think you are being watched by demons and I feel the people who are watching you are doing so with your best interests in mind. (((Hugs)))

It definitely sounds like a delusion, and I hope you feel better soon. ((HUGS)). I know that feeling though where no matter what anyone says to reassure you that there's nothing to worry about, the thoughts are so powerful. I've had delusions of being watched where I thought people at both my old job and current job were watching me and that the FBI was investigating me. There was no basis for these thoughts. I really hope you get the help you need.

I swear my next door neighbor watches me. It's so hard for me to leave my house when I know he's home. I have to pass his house to leave the neighborhood. And I won't do yard work when he's home because he watches. It's most likely not true, but it's hard to change my mind.

I feel like I am being watched when I suffer from delusions of persecution and excess paranoia.
