I can't sleep at all plus I feel like little tingly itchy bugs are on me. Plus I felt the bed move like someone slapped it hard with both hands-on I heard it too. This happened twice. Oh yeah- I'm all alone.

I had the itchy bugs all over my skin sensation the whole of Friday and man it sucks. I don't have an answer for your bed being slapped. I've had strange things happen occasionally when I'm home alone too and I've thought huh? Funny thing is, it's been while I'm in bed too. Wonder if it has something to do with us partially nodding off but feeling awake then being fully awake and not realising that for a few seconds we were nodding.

If you only get the feeling while in bed than the chances are there are real bugs. God forbid they are bed bugs because they are extremely difficult to get rid of.

I very much sympathize with the itchy bugs thing. I get it too. Not often, TG, but it's awful.

(As awful as the experience is -- I'd prefer to hallucinate them than to actually have them. Real ones would REALLY wig me out!!! Heck, just thinking about that wigs me out(!))

I thought they were real bugs when it first started happening because its so much worse in bed. But it comes and goes and my husband and children don't have it. No evidence of real bugs. My doctor said itching is worse at night for people because the mind is idle and it focuses on the sensation more.

Good luck....I hope it helps. Gold Bond sells a mentholated lotion which can be mildly helpful too.

I get that severe itching sometimes.
Never had it until recently but I really believe the meds cause it.

Do you think it could be akathisia? (I can't post links yet, so you'll have to google it)

I've had this, and it's very unpleasant.

I thought akathesia was the inability to stop moving around.
