so,

someone suggested to me that a good way to drown out the fireworks was to use noise canceling headphones.

I'm for this- I think it's a great Idea

my question:

which ones are good to get?

I actually don't know the first thing about headphones, so, relying on you guys!

thanks!

If you can afford Bose, they're the best. If not, Sony and Klipsch make some decent ones.

I know some info about headphones. I have Audio Technicas and Bose Quiet Comfort.

I don't like the Bose ones (sorry). Beautiful sound, but they make my ears hot and sweaty within 30 mins. I prefer my Audio Technicas. It's a high quality brand.

I just look on Amazon for the bestsellers, then read the reviews. That's usually how I start researching stuff in general

I have the top of the line Bose, I listen to a lot of music while working. They cost a lot of money, but when I wear them I feel like I am in a tomb, so quiet. And my office is loud.

I have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Expensive and they don't block out all the noise. I can still hear my daughter talking at times.

I also have the top of the line Bose headphones. My husband builds speakers and is really picky about his headphones and he bought these as well. I love them. I love turning the light skin off and listening to music with them. I can be in my own world without outsid distractions.
