My t called the other night to update me on volunteering info. Completely within boundaries. we got off topic and spoke about apple cider. No idea.... Anyway she jokingly asked me to text and remind her to get one lol being funny, I texted her this morning and reminded her!

When I got to session she had gotten me one too. This isn't the first time she's gotten me a drink from the coffee shop. She also got me a Xmas gift last year.
I asked if she does that for all her clients. Reasonable question don't you think? She said no but she has some special clients. I said "special? I'm not sure that's a good thing!" We both laughed but still.

Is this weird to y'all?

She's very kind. What got me was when she said she has some special clients.

The "special clients" line gave me pause too. I think that T's are human and so they naturally will connect with some clients better than others. There's nothing wrong with that -- it's human nature -- so long as the "not special" clients don't ever feel slighted.
I think it's sweet she got you apple cider

I think it's special. I had a boss me a Christmas present once....I was the only one and she didn't even celebrate Christmas...just said she wanted to do something nice for me. I felt very special...wish I would have stayed in contact with her.

This is a little different, but I exchange birthday gifts with my T. I'm pretty sure she doesn't do it with anyone else as our birthdays are only two days apart.
