I'm getting so frustrated. I've been in depressed mode for several weeks now and simply cannot shake it. Zoloft was a disaster and just finished titrating down and am now solely on Lamictal 200mg. I hate this because I work for myself and I've slowed down to damn near a stop. Just want to lay down and sleep, eat or read a book. This stresses my wife since my portion of the income is necessary. I've stopped exercising and feel the weight coming back (my appetite and carb craving goes up).... which will make me feel worse. So.. wondering what has worked for folks more on the BPII spectrum who spend a lot of time like this...

I'm sorry to say, mossanimal, I have to wait it out. Trying not to isolate may help.

Have you tried other anti-depressants. I am on Lamictal and Lexapro.

Not yet. I still want to see how I do on lamictal by itself. The interesting thing is that this depression broke today like a lightning bolt (will see if it lasts). I was sitting around reading instead of working and generally feeling like crap. It's been cloudy for almost 2 weeks straight.. and the sun came out and I decided to go read outside and just bask like a Galapagos iguana. Well about an hour later... boom.
