So I got my daughter off to the doctor this morning on time. Then I got her lunch and back to school with her note. I got that darned paperwork back. My case manager at DHS answered the flippin phone first ring!!!! I have to reapply for food stamps. We're eating scraps over here. I have bills to pay but my ex never sends money (much anyway). I'm still waiting on pins and needs to see if I got disability. Its taking longer than usual as they are backed up by all the appeals- or so they said when my other case worker called them recently. My lawyer did say after the hearing that she thought the judge was very favorable and my case seemed good to get accepted. Why does it have to take so long? How did I end up in this life? Bipolar and poor? I'm soothed by my music. I try. The hallucinations. I'm on the lowest dose of Wellbutrin, too. I don't feel myself. I still think bad things are going to happen. I have to totally reapply for foodstamps, too. Start over. I did get my section 8 paperwork mailed off today. Finally! I still feel upset because my bills are piling up.

Sorry things aren't going so well for you right now. I know it must be hard.

I don't have any advice, but I hope you get disability soon so that you can start to rebuild your life. Hang in there

could you take your ex to court once you get your money and can afford a lawyer?
She should be paying you child support if you are raising the child/ren.
Either way I hope your disability comes thru.
keeping fingers crossed for you.

I know how you feel. I thought I never would get approved for disability, but it finally came in. It's still not enough to really live one but it helps. I hope they get yours through soon.
