I don't give up anymore. On anything. It might take me awhile to accomplish something but I hang on until I get it done. I don't let anything beat me anymore. I don't like being Molly coddled either. I notice theres alot of that going on on this site. I agree on supporting each other but we also need to straighten each other out from time to time. We need to inspire each other and sometimes push each other instead of saying aw don't beat yourself up for that we can try saying hey don't give up so soon, try, try, again!

Yep, I've been struggling for almost 2 years with lots of meds and med adjustments and therapy but I kept at it and I'm finally feeling so much better but damn it's been a hard ride

What you say makes sense, but at the same time I feel that it is sometimes easier said than done.

Some people are in situations where all they can tolerate is being coddled. Some people are far too sick to have it "given to them straight". Some people need a boot up the butt apparently too but I won't be the one to administer it. I offer whatever support seems reasonable to me at the time. My main concern is "do no harm"

Are you saying you need people to be less coddling to you and you find the current support you are receiving to be lacking? Do you feel the support being offered to others by others is not satisfactory?
