The previous thread went over 1000 posts and closed so I'm picking it up right where it ended.

(how is the food at your hospital?) It used to be bad but the last 2 times I've been in it was actually really good. They finally stopped rotating a 3 day menu with 2 choices each day and started giving a lot of the same choices daily. I was very glad.

Have you spent a holiday IP?

I spent Thanksgiving two years ago at a partial/house place. Hated it.

Do you have a favorite psych med and are you still on it?

Adderall. Not on it anymore. Gives me strength and the worst reaction after 3 hrs.

You feel you need more meds or less.

Less. I don't think I need meds right now. I'm actively delusional so I'm still taking them mostly but it's a struggle to swallow them every time.

What is the worst med (bipolar or otherwise) you've ever experienced?

I had to take pills for malaria years ago when I traveled to South Africa to reduce the risk.

How well do you cope being around family during the holidays?

It used to be 9pm, but lately it has been somewhere between 12 and 2am.

When was your last hospitalization? Either inpatient or outpatient?

Oh the question is what is the longest you have been IP, if at all.

15 days, two times.

Do you get individual therapy while IP?

Nope.
Do you find the groups during IP helpful?

Do you enjoy art therapy?

No, I refused art therapy because I'm the least artistic/craftsy person I know.

What was your first hospitalization like?

My current hospitalisation is going well as can be. Nurses and doctors are awesome. Hate being trapped in here though but have escorted leave so off to the beach soon. On the past I have had bad hospitalisation where the staff were inattentive and unhelpful. Basics useless. This time they work well will my doc to help me get the best care. I am lucky.

Have you ever swum in the ocean?

Awesome! Did you go snorkelling?

Travelled to Indonesia, USA, Canada, England,Scotland, France, Switzerland, Thailand, New Zealand and a little bit of Australia. Love traveling, would go more if I gad$$ and was well.

Are you happy being a citizen of the country you are in or want to be citizen of?

Morning person without bipolar; not really either with my current meds. Forced into nightowlism when unwell.

How long does it take you to fall asleep?
