Tomorrow I am writing five hours of law exam. It's past midnight, I need to get up at seven. I took 50 mg of Promethazine and I am further from sleep than ever. I feel so sped up and I feel like I could be enjoying it if it weren't just SO much and if I didn't need to write that exam. How the hell can my mood change from completely normal on Monday to feeling completely high without taking any drugs within three days. I am still overwhelmed by this. Surprises me every time. Any sleeping tips? Had a warm tea just now, cuddled up in bed watching a movie, waiting for the pills to hit, but they should long since have done so.

The doc refuses to give me benzos because he thinks I would abuse them (I probably would). Fortunately the meds hit in half an hour later and I got like six hours of sleep and did okay today

Hi, I am glad things worked out for you but I must say I am surprised that you do not take ambien. Antihistamines have long been suspected to cause cancer and usually makes one drowsy after.

That is good to know! I will mention it to my pdoc next time. He is just giving me momentary medication because getting me diagnosed takes it's time and he is afraid I might fly through the roof on antidepressants. I felt like a zombie today and was completely drowsy.
