The Latuda gives me Lucid dreams, which have been nightmares, but this morning I had two amazing dreams in which I was with old friends. I went back to sleep just to have another dream, and had an amazing one. Paul, the man with dementia I'm taking care of on a 24 hour schedule is much better than yesterday. He is upbeat and chipper today, whereas yesterday he was yelling profanities at me. I think the Latuda is kicking in somewhat after a week. I am less stressed today, and today is also my quit smoking day, so I feel good about that. I have the patch on. It's all about patience. Some days are bad, but it will always turn around. I've learned this from the 7 years I've had bipolar so far. Aahhhh...what a relief. Just always remember things will turn around for the better, even when it feels like the dark night of the soul.

I am glad that you had some good dreams and that you feel the latuda is kicking in. Being a caregiver is hard work.
take care of yourself.

I like hearing/reading peoples stories of happiness as it sometimes gives me hope that things may very well get better for me. Patience is definitely not my strong suit. All I want is to feel at peace with myself.

Great news!

Yes, fortunately, things change.
Buddhists often refer to this as the impermanence of life. Nothing is permanent, not even life on this human plane of existence. Everything is transient and constantly changing.
