I posted this in the depression forum aswell but want to post here.
Has anyone dx also had elevated levels of an amino acid homocysteine found on blood tests? I had a blood draw following a neurological event that found elevated levels. It's been found to increase risk of blood clotting & stroke, cardiovascular disease in general & also depression as I've recently discovered. [Does diet affect our mood? The significance of folic acid and homocysteine]. - PubMed - NCBI
