Hey guys. I just went to my pdoc yesterday for concerns about mania. He took me off Seroquel and put me on Saphris which I started last night.
Who is using this? Is it helpful? Side effects? Weight gain? Sleep? What do you think?

Saphris works wonders for my depression, but I don't know anything about what it does for mania. My most annoying side effect is akathisia, but I take my whole dose at bedtime so I mostly sleep through it. Thumbs up for Saphris from me.

I took it a couple years ago. It made me feel antsy and have internal voices so my Pdoc took me off it.

I've taken it for over two years and it keeps the mania in check and really helps with my insomnia. Tastes yucky but but overall I like it and feel it helps my mood level.
