I just started researching on a topic that had me worried ever since and may have found an explanation. Please let me know if you ever experienced something like that.

I have times when I get slighty higher body temperature for weeks or months. My temperature will be about 37,8 degrees celcius various times a day. Up to 37,5 is considered normal. It is not fever but this temperature is known for viral infections and stuff. I could never find an explanation for this and neither could the doctors. I was worrying for a long time that I might have some hidden tumor because "fever without explanation" can be one of the symptoms but as I have had this for years I don't worry about this anymore. I have had it again recently, I get drenched in sweat in the mornings and walk through the house half naked even though it is freezing outside. Now I started to do some reading on mania and temperature and found some other people to show this symptom too. I am just thinking about how I was feeling in these times and sometimes I was under enormous stress but also very active, sleeping little and having vivid dreams. So I am starting to think it might be a sign of mania/hypomania.

Does anyone else here experience something like that?

When I'm stressed my body and face are on FIRE!!! My eyes burn so bad. Not the kind of burn you get from irritation, but the kind that comes from fever. My temp is usually 97. Something and is usually closer to 99 when I'm stressed. When I'm manic I get the same HOT sensations. My husband says I'm his personal heater. I feel like an inferno radiating heat like a solar flare of something. I'm surprised I'm not microwaving people who come near me. If I touch someone during these times they feel soooo cold to me.

I run hot on the outside and freezing on the inside when stable. But when stressed or manic it's like someone turns the oven nob inside me up full blast. (((Hugs)))

Interesting. I never put the two together but I've felt my eyes were on fire and other fever symptoms but no fever at all. I'm not sure if I was manic though.
